A week ago I saw this story - "Mom Injects Child With Botox". It was all over the place. The gist of the story was, with photos, that a mother who was a nurse of some sore, injected her daughter with botox. Her daughter is nine years old and enters those kid beauty pageants. Take a breath.
Now...after this story goes public - the child and mother are interviewed on Entertainment Tonight.
The mother doesn't want to say where she gets her botox and the kid says she doesn't like her 'wrinkles'. Jesus Christ. ok
THEN...the kid gets taken away...CPS steps in and an investigation starts.
The mother NOW says - wait...there's a few stories. She says she was paid by The Sun the amount of $200.oo for the story. She says it was fake. I bet so!
Then wait...The Sun didn't pay her...they set her up? Who took the photo? I can't keep anything she says straight.
Then she says it was an 'acting job'. "I was doing just an acting job...I didn't know this was gonna be this big."
Bitch...shut up. You're done. You're poor kid. Ugh.

Our Little Froggy
For about three years now we've had our little froggy(ies) living underneath the threshold of the back patio. My daughter makes sure to keep her (we're convinced it's a her) little hole clear and leaves covering so she feels save entering and exiting her little home.
However, while cleaning up the bed this past weekend, I had to get rid of her leaves covering her hole. But I did make sure when filling with soil, I didn't bury her hole. And the next morning I noticed our little froggy had customized the soil around her entry.
Here are some photos from early this morning.

Every morning, she peeks her nose out at us.
There she is...in her hole...waiting for us to go back inside.
Garlic Bread Pizza
This was the perfect Monday night dinner for me. After a weekend in the yard, I'm still pooped. The oldest has choir rehearsals out the ying yang and I still haven't got caught up on my house chores. SO....easy peasy delicious dinner for 4!
Ok....so it's more of a What Do We Have In The Kitchen To Cook A Fast, Easy and Good meal? meal.
Frozen garlic bread? Check
Fresh roma tomatoes? Check
Fresh mushrooms? Check
Basil in the back yard? Check
Cheese? Check.
Bam...load it on the garlic bread. Bake at 375 for about half an hour. Bam. Four pieces per person to snack on while life happens in the household....brushing the cat, steam cleaning the back seat of my car, watering the plants, bla bla bla.

Planting, Awesome Weather And Wine
Oh my GAWD the weather was beautiful this weekend! Saturday, the plan was to clean out/organize/garage sale prep the garage. That didn't happen. I ended up renewing our back patio. It's Spring, afterall.
I went to Lowe's and purchased some plants,as I mentioned in my last post. Lowe's wasn't crazy busy, but I always enjoy the fast check out they provide. A checker comes to you with their price gun....zaps everything and when you get to the register - give them the number assigned to you and bam...you're done! While I was waiting in line, I got to make goo-goo eyes with the cutest kids, and help their parents keeping the kids entertained whilst they got checked out. Ahhh...that put a smile on my face.
I also headed to Big Lot's and got a new hose, sprayer and attachment nozzle to elongate our old hose to reach the whole back yard. The connector (from old hose to new hose) has a shut off valve. Awesome. Now I don't have to pray and try to 'throw' water to all my plants. :)
I got back home, changed clothes and proceeded to clean out the pathetic little bed under the window.

Out came the rake and the garbage bags...leaves and cotton from the cotton wood tree..poof...gone. Old mat...poof...gone. I got out a shovel and tilled the ground, spread new soil and began planting.
I found a rainbow at the end of my water hose!
Day 2 and my plants are not dead yet. That's a record!
Ended Sunday with a nice chilled white wine spritzer, the mister grilling on the pit and my two nuggets making mama laugh!
